World-renowned pianist, podcaster, and certified breathwork educator Chad Lawson Announced where we area new album of original solo piano works inspired by messages from fans about how his music has impacted their lives.

Lawson, a certified breathing expert, released lead single “Sanctuary” and accompanying music video in commemoration of World Breathing Day on April 11, a global celebration of the practice of conscious breathing. Check it out below.
On this track, he plays a delicate piano melody repeatedly, almost cyclically. “That sets the theme for the album,” he says. “‘Sanctuary’ is a place where you find healing for yourself. People want to be kind to themselves and feel okay, but they don’t know how.”
Coinciding with the announcement and release of “Sanctuary,” Chad will partner with the International Breathwork Foundation to host a Zoom workshop titled “Healing Through Music and Breathwork.” Chad’s live piano performance will be interwoven with consciously connected breathing sessions led by Lauren Cerek Cafritz. “My role is to influence the heart, not to impress the heart,” he says. “That’s how I look at my music. Everyone seems so tired right now. That’s why I’m trying to meet people with ‘Where They Are.’ That’s the origin of the album’s name. I’m going to be in the middle of it with them. I hold out my hand and say, “I’m going to get through this.” ”
