Unlike most sneakers, it doesn’t feature a movable tongue, instead opting for a more sock-like fit. This allows the shoe to move with your foot, but not the other way around. The sneakers have over 2 millimeters of cushioning to provide maximum support. “I was able to really spread my toes and feel stronger in my stride while wearing these,” says Nikki Brown, NBC Select SEO Editor.

The On Running Cloud x3 is made with three mesh layers and features a molded heel cap for added support and cushioning. The brand describes it as a versatile training shoe that can be used for running, walking, and training. “This was my favorite shoe to try for the Wellness Awards,” says NBC Select Editor Jordan Bowman.
A layer of mesh allows for temperature regulation and a lightweight feel. “The three-layer mesh kept my feet dry on rainy days and warm on cold days,” says Bowman.

Therabody Sense has 5 speeds and 4 attachments. The unique shape is easy to use and allows you to reach almost every muscle in your body. “The pressure between each speed felt unique, and the difference was immediately felt,” Bowman says.
It also comes with Bluetooth connectivity and can be used with the app for personalized step-by-step guides.
Fitbit Charge 6

The Fitbit Charge 6 is perfect for those who take a “less is more” approach to fitness technology. Compact and user-friendly, this tracker takes the hassle out of technology by providing essential fitness features rather than a smartphone. It has a long battery life and comes with his Fitbit app that displays health data. NBC Select reporter Harry Rabinowitz says the tracker is perfect for beginners, with over 40 exercise modes, built-in GPS, and more.
waterpik toothbrush

With three modes, soft bristles, and an ergonomic non-slip handle, Waterpik is a proven toothbrush. The brush comes with a 2-minute timer and a 30-second pacer for a perfect deep clean. “My teeth feel noticeably cleaner after I wash them,” says NBC Select Editorial Assistant Ariadne Knight.
The toothbrush includes a travel case, one brush head, and a charging stand. The brand says the battery will last four weeks on a single charge.
How we chose the winner
We tapped our editors as shopping and tasting experts to find the winners. We spent five weeks trying out hundreds of wellness products before choosing the best in each category. During this trial period, our editors and staff took detailed notes on each product to ensure that only the best remained on the list when selecting winners.
When considering products, we make comprehensive judgments. To win the Best of Wellness Award, your product must meet the needs of your readers and upgrade their lives. We considered various things specific to each category. Price, comprehensiveness of size, quality, and effectiveness are some of the criteria we considered.
