Packed with skin-loving ingredients, Cosrx Hyaluronic Acid Serum is formulated with amino acids and ceramide np, known to help protect and nurture the skin barrier.

vitamin C

Main benefits

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects your skin from UVA, UVB, and blue light. It also helps repair skin, repair DNA cells, and fight pigmentation and signs of aging. Suitable for all skin types and age groups.

stay comfortable

Can be used in combination with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. If you apply them together, you should apply vitamin C first, followed by hyaluronic acid or niacinamide.

keep arm length

Do not use at the same time as AHAs, BHAs, and retinols. Low concentrations of AHA and BHA can be used as a nightly routine. One night I take vitamin C and the other I take retinol. Or take vitamin C in the morning and AHA, BHA, or retinol at night. People with acne-prone skin should be careful when using vitamin C. Vitamin C can cause breakouts. It is better to do a patch test beforehand.

Optimal usage

L-ascorbic acid is a powerful form of vitamin C that becomes unstable when exposed to light, so some doctors recommend using it at night. However, it also protects from UV rays, so you can apply sunscreen over it and use it during the day. Other forms of vitamin C can be used during the day and at night.

After washing your face, apply 3-4 drops of vitamin C serum, followed by a moisturizer. Apply sunscreen over it. It takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks to see results.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA – Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid)

Main benefits

Glycolic acid has anti-aging properties and is great for enlarged pores, fine lines, skin aging, and pigmentation. On the other hand, lactic acid has moisturizing and whitening effects.

stay comfortable

You can combine AHA with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. AHA and BHA can cause dryness and irritation. Niacinamide’s moisturizing properties make it suitable for layering with these actives.

keep arm length

Never combine AHA and retinol or AHA and BHA as they can cause irritation. However, you can also use it every other night.

Optimal usage

Use these only with PMs. Take 3-4 drops of serum and apply it to your face with your fingertips. It takes about 3 to 6 months for the effects to appear on your skin. Apply every night.

Alpha hydroxy acids (BHA)

Main benefits

BHAs like salicylic acid unclog pores and combat blackheads and whiteheads.

stay comfortable

You can combine BHA and niacinamide. Salicylic acid causes exfoliation and dryness of the skin. Niacinamide helps skin repair and reduces the pigment melanin, so it works together against acne and age spots.
