Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court in Jabalpur asked the state government to explain the formula for calculating 87% to 13% for the 2021 Ayurvedic Medical Examination, and Justice Sanjay Dwivedi passed the order. This method is being challenged in the High Court.
In the 2021 Ayurvedic Doctor Examination, the state government has declared 87% of the results and the results of 13% of candidates have been put on hold due to unresolved issues regarding OBC reservations.
The petitioners who moved the high court are Surendra Kumar Vishwakarma from Sagar district, Smrita Patel from Bhopal district, Manish Kumar Bhandari and Shantanu Veermal from Rajgarh and Nitin Patidar from Balwani district.
All the petitioners achieved excellent results in the Ayurvedic Medical Examination conducted in 2021. The petitioner obtained higher marks in the main examination and was selected in the main selection list with 87%.
Advocate Rameshwar Singh Thakur, who appeared on behalf of the petitioner, said, “According to the provisions of the Reservation Act, 1994, 27% reservation is given to OBCs who have not been given a reservation order by any court. “There is,” he said. However, based on the opinion given by the Attorney General, the General Affairs Department issued a circular on September 29, 2022, issuing a formula of 87%-13%. As a result, the future of the remaining candidates is in jeopardy. ”
