The event, held on November 18, 2023, was a great success as it brought together experts, practitioners and enthusiasts in the field of natural therapy.
A welcome address was delivered by Dr. Yuvaraj Paul, who welcomed and thanked all the guests and participants of the event, followed by a presidential address by NIN Director Prof. K. Sathya Lakshmi, who addressed the gathering with the following: He said: Naturopathy is extremely relevant today due to its holistic approach to health and well-being. She said that this year’s theme of natural remedies is very relevant to general health, as the human body should be seen completely and we need the attitude to see it completely.

She details preventive medicine, holistic approaches, empowerment and self-care, natural and non-invasive therapies, environmental sustainability, and more.
The director also recognized the importance of this day and said that several prominent names were selected for their outstanding contributions in the field of natural medicine. Dr. SN Pandey, Pro Chancellor, Global Open University of Nagaland, Dr. Shankaran Manipuzha, Chairman and Principal Consultant, Vadodara Gujarat Natural Health Association, Dr. RM Nehru, Former Director and Founder, Bapu Nature Cure Hospital and Yogashram; Dr. Y. Rudrappa, Medical Director of Sanatana Yoga and Nature Hospitals in New Delhi and Bangalore, Karnataka, will be honored and felicitated today in Haridwar with an award from the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
Baharam Shah Mardaan of Dr. Dinshah K. Mehta Spiritual Center, Dahanu, Mumbai, spoke at a gathering on the topic of Dr. Dinshah Mehta and his contribution to natural healing. He elaborated that Mahatma Gandhi was an ardent believer in natural medicine and Dr. Dinshah Mehta was his personal physician. He mentioned how Dr. Dinshah Mehta, with his spiritual inner divine motives and thoughts, had contributed immensely to establishing natural medicine in India. Mr. Anand Kelkar spoke about achieving overall health through his exercise and exercise as food.
The institute organized free consultations and naturopathic treatments for the public to highlight the importance of preventive health care and the benefits of naturopathic practices, including free distribution of naturopathy literature.
A cultural program was held by TATC students and interns, followed by a certificate presentation ceremony for students of the Foundations of Yoga Science for Wellness course.
