In an interview with Zoom, Boney Kapoor shed light on Sridevi’s spiritual leanings, their blended family relationship and their everlasting love journey. Reflecting on her deep spirituality in Sridevi, Kapoor revealed that she was more religious than him. Thanks to her, he believes it even more. Despite their initial differences in beliefs, Kapoor found himself drawn to Sridevi’s spiritual essence, which ultimately strengthened their bond.
During the conversation, Boney also spoke about Sridevi’s unconventional personality, citing the example of her taking on the unusual responsibility of lighting her own mother’s funeral pyre.
Boney further narrated their love journey and revealed the tenacity and dedication it took to win Sridevi’s heart. He confessed to her that her love for Shuri continued to grow and continued to woo her for almost five years until finally the two of us were in the same space about our feelings.
On a different note, Kapoor expressed his love as a father and spoke fondly about his daughters Janhvi and Khushi, highlighting the overwhelming love he has for them. He confessed that he was crazy about my love for my children. He says he got angry with Janhvi and Khushi only once. And when it comes to Arjun, it’s him who gets mad at Boney Kapoor, not the other way around.
While admitting that her relationship with Arjun Kapoor, her son from her first marriage, is complicated, Boney Kapoor candidly admitted that she understands Arjun’s resentment towards her.
