Mindful meditation to boost your energy
Society has long believed that being busy is a good thing. It shows that business is strong, productivity is high and we are on track. Staying focused and getting things done helps us get through life, but there’s such a thing as healthy busyness and abnormal busyness. When we live our days on autopilot, we can get caught up in the add-ons and stories we tell ourselves instead of experiencing each moment as it truly is. We spiral down the rabbit hole of thoughts and ever-changing emotions, numbing ourselves to the here and now.
Next time you go through your morning routine, take a moment to notice these add-ons. How can we separate them from our experience at the moment? Can we walk to the train knowing we are walking to catch it? Take a sip of coffee and realize that we are Can you notice when you’re drinking coffee? This meditation helps you become aware of what’s going on around you and practice seeing things as they really are.
