A 64-year-old mother of 11 children has beaten billionaire biohacker Brian Johnson in the anti-aging “Rejuvenation Olympics” with a simple routine.
Amy Hardison is currently fifth on the “Young Adult Olympics,” an online leaderboard where people submit their health statistics to show how they have slowed the aging process.
She is one place above Mr Johnson, a 45-year-old technology executive known for his extremely expensive health regime, which included blood transfusions for his teenage son.
Hardison’s tests showed that her simple system improved key markers of aging, including cellular senescence, telomere shortening, and mitochondrial dysfunction.
Ironically, as a mother and grandmother, she doesn’t have any desire to live an exceptionally long life, telling Business Insider, “People of my children’s generation would say, ‘You don’t want to live to 130? No, I don’t think so.'”
Here we detail a cost-effective and effective routine to stay young and healthy.
supplement
Hardison spends $300 a month on supplements from longevity brand Novos.
She currently takes three NOVOS products (Core, Boost, and Vital) that contain magnesium, L-theanine, ginger, and fisetin.
She told Insider that she had never taken supplements before but saw immediate results.

Hardison follows a simple routine that consists of healthy, home-cooked food and daily treats.
She starts her day every morning with a glass of chocolate milk and a piece of homemade whole wheat toast.
For lunch and dinner, she eats salads with plenty of vegetables, fruits, nuts, and chicken for protein.
But what matters most to her is her daily treat of homemade cookies or chocolates.
She told Insider, “I listen to my body. I only eat what I love. I savor what I eat.”
exercise
Hardison combines low-intensity workouts with bursts of high intensity.
She typically works out on the elliptical machine at a moderate pace for an hour while listening to an audiobook, followed by a short bout of high-intensity exercise.
When it’s warm enough, I’ll work out in the pool instead.
She told Insider, “It’s an essential part of my day and something I enjoy a lot. I think it’s important to find something you love enough to look forward to.”
It’s important to have a good mindset about it and find a balance of habits that keep you healthy and happy, she said.
She said: “I’m not trying to slow down old age. I feel like I’m at the best age of my life right now.”
