Whether you’re serving guests of all ages or looking for a tasty way to sip on less alcohol, these tasty mocktails are the perfect alternative to your favorite alcoholic beverage. With the heat rising, try this Watermelon Mocktail recipe that’s super hydrating and tastes great (really good).

Watermelon Mint Agua Fresca

This refreshing Watermelon and Mint Agua Fresca is sure to quench your thirst on a hot summer day. The watermelon is sliced, blended and chilled, sweetened with minty syrup and served over ice, with just the right amount of lime juice to balance the overall drink.

This watermelon slushie recipe calls for rum or vodka, but you can easily omit the alcohol and make it without spirits. Simply mix frozen watermelon with ice, lime juice, orange juice, and syrup, and garnish with a sprig of mint for a light and easy drink to get through those hot summer days.

Watermelon Mojito Granita

This classic watermelon mojito granita recipe is a dessert served in a glass to be enjoyed by the spoon. The steps are simple: mix everything in a blender, pour into a baking dish, cover and freeze. After a few hours, you’ll have a slushy treat that’s perfect for cooling off by the pool. If you want to make it alcohol-free, just omit the white rum.

There’s nothing more refreshing than fruit-infused water, and it’s super easy to make. To make this drink, simply place some watermelon chunks or balls in a pitcher along with a sprig of mint or basil and chill in the fridge. Not only is it refreshingly sweet (but not too sweet), it’s also beautiful to look at, making it the perfect drink to serve when you have guests over.

This super easy drink only requires two ingredients: watermelon and store-bought lemonade. First, cube the watermelon and liquor it in a blender. Next, pour the watermelon puree through a fine strainer to remove any lumps or grains. Mix the strained watermelon puree with the lemonade (one tablespoon each) and pour over ice for a quick and refreshing drink. If you want to get fancy, garnish with mint sprigs and lemon or lime slices.

If you prefer homemade lemonade, start by following this traditional lemonade recipe and mixing in strained watermelon puree to taste.

To save time in the future, mix up some homemade lemonade concentrate and store it in the freezer so it’s ready when the lemonade craving hits. Bonus: You can also store watermelon puree in the freezer. Pour into ice cube trays for easy portioning.

Fire on the Mountain

If you’re looking for a spicy drink, you’ll love this fiery mocktail. This Fire On The Mountain recipe calls for grapefruit juice, but blended watermelon can easily be substituted. Make a spicy syrup with chilli peppers and sugar and mix it with watermelon juice, lime juice and basil leaves. Serve over ice in a rocks glass and enjoy a delicious treat to tantalise your taste buds.
