Barbecuing is a super fun activity, and it’s even more fun when you do it with friends and family. If you want to give your dad the best surprise on Father’s Day, then what better way to surprise him than with a delicious barbecue meal?

This year Father’s Day will be celebrated on June 16, 2024. Fathers are a people who cannot be ignored but often do not receive enough attention. Although every day is Father’s Day, the official Father’s Day is a day to remind everyone to cherish the fathers in their lives.

There is a famous saying that says, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.” This is a proven saying as food is a way to make someone instantly happy and treat them special. If you want to surprise your dad with something tasty and above the ordinary, here are some fun BBQ recipes that are easy to make and can be made at home.

The best part is that while cooking delicious food, you can also involve your dad in the entire process, making it a more fun and indulgent activity.

Grilled salmon is a very simple and wonderful seafood that you can barbecue at home. It has a tangy flavor thanks to the inclusion of orange zest, as well as soy sauce, honey and garlic flavours. To make this mouthwatering dish at home, you need to marinate the salmon with ingredients like orange zest, soy sauce, honey, chilli flakes, grated ginger and a little yogurt (optional). Allow this salmon to absorb the flavours for at least 20 minutes before placing it on the barbecue stand. Cook it until glazed and you can serve it with boiled vegetables.

Grilled pineapple is one of the most extravagant fruits that tastes great when grilled on the barbecue. You can make special pineapple skewers by carefully combining pineapple, red onion, tomato and other fruits and vegetables. Sprinkle lemon juice and fresh parsley on the skewers and place them on the grill. Cook properly until everything starts to brown and remove them from the barbecue.

Honey sausage is a classic barbecue recipe that is not only tasty but also tastes great. To make honey sausage at home, you can cut the sausage into cubes, add red onion, field sausage, papaya and tomato and string them on a skewer. At the same time, you can also make a delicious dip made of honey, soy sauce, chopped coriander, lime juice and granulated sugar. You can serve the skewers with the dip after grilling them on the barbecue stand. Or you can spread the dip on the skewers before serving.

Tofu skewers are a great vegan dish that is nutritious and delicious. Cut the tofu into small cubes and marinate it in a marinade made of soy sauce, light soy sauce, brown soy sauce, sugar, rice, wine, vinegar, peanuts, oil, ginger, pepper and any spices of your choice. Mix the tofu thoroughly with the marinade and grill it on the grill. Once cooked, sprinkle some coriander leaves on top of the tofu and serve.

Paneer Tikka is not only a delicious snack but also a unique taste sensation. Paneer Tikka is one of the most famous Indian barbecue recipes and a great way to surprise your Indian dad. It is made by marinating a block of paneer in a spice mix and yogurt and threading it onto a skewer. Also, lots of lime juice is added during the marinating process. You can also add red onion and tomato while threading the marinated paneer block onto the skewer. The skewers can be grilled on the barbecue and served with mint chutney.

This list would be incomplete without a special mention of Chicken Tikka. Chicken Tikka is one of those appetizers that can instantly change the mood of a party. To make the most perfect Chicken Tikka, first marinate fresh chicken in a mix of yogurt and Indian spices. Then, carefully combine these Chicken Tikkas with onions and tomatoes. Carefully grill them on the barbecue until they are slightly blackened from the edges. Chicken Tikka is usually eaten with mint, coriander chutney and vinegared onions.
