The Spirituality Summit, held from March 14th to 17th, brought together 500 top leaders from the most prominent spiritual organizations from all religions and schools of faith around the world.

The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with non-profit organization Heartfulness, recently hosted a four-day Global Spirituality Mahotsav at Kanha Shanti Vanam near Hyderabad.
The Spirituality Summit, held from March 14th to 17th, brought together 500 top leaders from the most prominent spiritual organizations from all religions and schools of faith around the world. Nearly 100,000 people attended this spiritual congregation, whose theme was “From Inner Peace to World Peace.” It aimed to foster interreligious dialogue and help people of all ages and walks of life connect with spirituality in their daily lives.

President Drupadi Murmu, who opened the meeting, said in his speech that the Global Spirituality Mahotsav will lead humanity towards spirituality. “Today, great spiritual leaders and hundreds of thousands of people, regardless of their different belief systems, come together to bring about harmony. It is a very sacred cause that the Ministry of Culture and Heartfulness has dedicated to this global spiritual Mahotsav. I am very happy that I have brought inner peace to world peace.”
Key participants at the summit included Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami, a leading figure in Vaisnavism. Motivational speaker Gaur Gopal Das. Mark Milton of Education4Peace. Pir Zia Inayat Khan of the Inayati Order. Mr. Harjinder Singh Dhami of SGPC. Reverend Anthony Pula, Archbishop of Hyderabad. Dr. Jayanti S. Ravi of Auroville Foundation; Mr. Ven Geshe Dorji of Tibet House. Actor Kabir Bedi. and film director Shekhar Kapur.
