Summer is officially upon us. As the days get warmer and brighter, there’s nothing better than enjoying a good American barbecue in the backyard with plenty of cold, refreshing and flavorful drinks.

Waterloo Sparkling Water’s latest flavour collection includes Raspberry Nectarine, Tropical Fruit and Summer Berry and can be enjoyed straight from the can or used as a mixer to create delicious mocktails.

You don’t need to spend extra time, effort or take classes to become a skilled bartender – just try out these easy recipes and you’ll be guaranteed to become the best home bartender you can be!

Waterloo’s raspberry nectarine, tropical fruits and summer berries are custom crafted by our skilled in-house flavor artists who are masters at designing invigorating, full-flavor experiences.

Tropical Fruit is a blend of blood orange, pineapple and mango with a dash of other exotic fruits, and was created after nearly 75 blends.

Raspberry Nectarine is a stunning combination of tart, sweet raspberries and luscious nectarines, in perfect harmony.

Summer Berry is an easy-to-drink, flavorful blend of dark berries and red raspberries.

Berry Nectarine Martini

material:

4 oz Waterloo Raspberry Nectarine Sparkling Water

1/2 teaspoon blueberry jam

⅛ teaspoon rose water

1/16 teaspoon citrus bitters (shake 3 times)

Garnish: Blackberries and honeydew slices

direction: Combine blueberry jam, rosewater, and 2 ounces of Waterloo Raspberry Nectarine in a shaker. Add ice, remove the lid, and stir to release some of the carbonation. Then replace the lid and shake. Pour the mixture into an upturned glass. Top with 2 ounces of Waterloo Raspberry Nectarine and the citrus bitters. Garnish with 4 skewered frozen blackberries and a honeydew slice.

Combine blueberry jam, rosewater, and 2 ounces of Waterloo Raspberry Nectarine in a shaker. Add ice, remove the lid, and stir to release some of the carbonation. Then replace the lid and shake. Pour the mixture into an upturned glass. Top with 2 ounces of Waterloo Raspberry Nectarine and citrus bitters.

Summer Aqua Fresca

material:

Waterloo Summer Berry Sparkling Water

1/2 cup watermelon

¼ cup pitted cherries

Fresh Mint

Lime Wedge

salt

direction: Mix watermelon, cherries, mint, lime, and a pinch of salt in a glass. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Pour Summer Berry Sparkling Water over the watermelon mixture.

Paradise Punch

material:

Waterloo Tropical Fruit Sparkling Water

2 ounces tangerine juice

1/2 cup red dragon fruit, diced

1/2 teaspoon dragon fruit powder

Lime Wedge

Pineapple Wedges

direction: Pour the tangerine juice and 4 ounces of Waterloo Tropical Fruit Sparkling Water into a glass filled with ice. Combine the dragon fruit and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Strain the dragon fruit mix down one side of the glass to create a swirl. Garnish with lime, pineapple wedge, and dragon fruit powder.

Pour tangerine juice and 4 ounces of Waterroot Tropical Fruit Sparkling Water into a glass filled with ice. Combine dragon fruit and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Strain the dragon fruit mix down one side of the glass and swirl to create a cocktail. Garnish with lime, pineapple wedge, and dragon fruit powder.

Passionate Peach

material:

Waterloo Peach Sparkling Water

1/2 ounce passion fruit puree

¼ ounce fresh lemon juice

5 fresh mint leaves

Peach slices

Fresh mint sprigs

direction: Add fresh mint, passion fruit puree and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Shake well and pour over fresh ice in a rocks glass and top with a Waterloo peach. Garnish with a peach slice and a mint sprig.

Lurita

material:

Waterloo Lemon-Lime Sparkling Water

¾ ounce fresh orange juice

1/2 ounce grapefruit juice

Lemon Wheel

Lime Wheel

Salt (optional)

direction: Add orange juice, grapefruit juice, and Waterloo Lemon Lime to a glass filled with ice. Mix well and garnish with lemon and lime slices. If desired, sprinkle salt on the rim of the glass beforehand.
