lincolnNebraska – Governor Jim Pillen encourages Nebraska organizations to apply for the 2024 Governor’s Wellness Awards.
“There are many benefits to prioritizing your health. It strengthens your immune system, reduces stress and your chances of developing many chronic diseases,” said Governor Pillen. “Each year, we recognize organizations across Nebraska that offer wellness programs in the workplace. These programs encourage team members to take steps toward healthier lifestyles. We encourage Nebraska employers to apply and recognize their commitment to promoting health.”
The 2024 application is open to employers of all sizes in Nebraska and encourages employers to initiate or enhance workplace health, safety, and benefits programs. These efforts include items such as an assessment of employee health risks and concerns, a written health plan with measurable goals and objectives, support policies, and the ability to demonstrate measurable benefits from health and safety efforts. included.
Organizations receive awards at the level of sowing, cultivation, or harvesting.

- grower level Recognize organizations that are strengthening their wellness programs and actively changing employee health behaviors.
