Mozart Red, White and Boozy Shake

Ingredients – 2 servings
6 scoops of vanilla ice cream
Blue Curacao 30ml
Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur 90ml
3 scoops of raspberry sorbet
red food coloring (optional)
Whipped cream
Red, white and blue sprinkles
Method
In a blender, combine 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream and the Curacao until smooth. Divide between 2 tall glasses and freeze until set. Combine the remaining vanilla ice cream and 60ml Mozart white chocolate in a blender and blend until smooth. Carefully divide into glasses on top of the blue layer. Freeze until set. Add the raspberry sorbet and remaining liqueur to a blender and blend until smooth. Add a few drops of food colouring and blend quickly (optional). Divide evenly over the white layer and freeze until set. Top with whipped cream and garnish with sprinkles.

Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey 45ml
30ml fresh grapefruit juice
Martini Riserva 15ml
15ml simple syrup
1 drop orange bitters
Method
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake until chilled and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a grapefruit slice.

750ml Equiano Light Rum
1 litre of freshly squeezed orange juice
500ml pineapple juice
500ml grapefruit juice
200ml grenadine
50ml fresh lime juice
Method
Pour all ingredients into a large jug or bowl and stir with plenty of ice.

Another great punch bowl cocktail, this recipe was created by The Standard Grill in New York and will make you feel like you’re in a fine dining restaurant, even in your own backyard.

130ml fresh lemon juice
45ml cantaloupe liqueur (made with fresh cantaloupe juice, sugar, vodka and ascorbic acid)
Honeydew Vodka 340ml
450ml club soda
Method
Prepare an XL punch bowl and fill it with ice. Mix all ingredients into punch bowl. Garnish with melon balls and mint. Add a few straws (optional).

Method
Combine Templeton Midnight Rye, pineapple juice, sage syrup, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice. Garnish with a pineapple slice and sage leaf.

Baked peach syrup 45ml
30ml lime juice
15ml orange liqueur
Mint (for garnish)
Smoked salt and tajine (for the edges)
Method
Cut fresh peaches in half, remove seeds and grill skin side up for 2 to 3 minutes. Peel, mash and strain the juice into a shaker. Add Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur and ice to the shaker. Shake. Add a lime wedge to the rim of a cocktail glass. Dip the rim of the glass in smoked salt and tajine, fill the glass with ice and pour over the ice. Top with mint.

What’s cooler than a punch bowl? A pitcher of frozen cocktails. In both senses of the word. This recipe from tequila brand 21Seeds puts an icy twist on a Paloma, and somehow it’s even more refreshing than the original.
Ingredients – 4 servings
240ml 21Seeds Grapefruit Hibiscus Infused Tequila
240ml pink grapefruit juice (without pulp)
90ml simple syrup
60ml fresh lime juice
1.5kg of ice

Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth.

The Fourth of July is sure to be spent with family, and this year, Kevin Hart’s Gran Colamino Tequila is acknowledging that families don’t always get along. The brand has created a range of cocktail recipes to represent family members, with Hater saying it was “named after that cousin who was at the height of his high school career and wasn’t happy that you were getting married.” Fascinating, right?!

Method
Place all ingredients in a blender over ice and blend until smooth. Strain into chilled glasses and garnish with whipped cream and orange slices. Serve in 1 large or 2 small glasses. For larger quantities, increase the amount of ingredients to fit within the limits of your blender.
